Emirates returns A380 to Auckland and Kuala Lumpur

Emirates currently serves both cities with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft

with the aircraft stopping in Kuala Lumpur before continuing to Auckland. With the introduction of the A380, the two cities will be separated and direct flights to and from Dubai operate, providing customers with greater flexibility and seat capacity, as well as providing more opportunities to travel across the Emirates network with reduced transit times, and faster access to and from Europe, the Middle East and South Asia and Africa.

The direct service between Dubai and Auckland

will also regain its status as the longest route on the Emirates network, with the aircraft covering 14,200 km, in addition to being one of the longest non-stop commercial flights in the world.

Emirates direct flight EK448 will depart from Dubai

at 10:05 am and arrive in Auckland at 11:05 am the next day. The return flight, EK449, departs from Auckland at 9:15 pm and arrives at Dubai International Airport at 5:25 am the next day. (All times are in Dubai and Auckland local time).

New Zealand is promoting tourism with a global campaign in key markets to encourage more visitors to come and enjoy amazing natural experiences and attractions. To promote Malaysia, Emirates recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Malaysian Tourism Board to develop visitor traffic to the country from key markets across the airline's global network.

with passengers thanks to its spacious and comfortable cabins, and its distinguished products that provide the best in-flight experiences, such as the air lounge, first class suites and the shower spa. The A380 experience is complemented by award-winning hospitality excellence, regional culinary innovations, as well as the award-winning ice inflight infotainment system, which offers more than 5,000 channels of on-demand video and audio at every passenger's fingertips.

Emirates continues to accelerate the deployment of its flagship A380 aircraft
